Walking in the evening in Taos is one more opportunity to notice the visual setting. On this walk, near the studio, the lights in the foreground and background created fascinating shades of greys, greens and yellows on the street, trees and adobe walls and highlighted the center stripe leading into the distance. A bit mysterious and certainly worth painting.
