Oil Painting Classes: Exploring Color, Saturdays 10-1

EXPLORING COLOR $325 [Class Full]
“Seamus is a wonderful teacher, bringing excitement and encouragement to his classroom. I always come home with a new tidbit to make my paintings even better, even though I have been painting for several years. I recommend him as a teacher 100%.” ~ Shanna
Continuing from the last series, students will be exploring the use of color instructed by Seamus Berkeley. Areas of exploration will include color mixing, color value and paint application. In this 3-month Saturday morning class we will paint from life, primarily in the studio (and make several lovely paintings in the process).
Seamus is a full-time, working artist and will teach you how to experience the magic that can happen with excellent instruction. You can expect animated teaching tailored to each student’s needs. Beginners can expect to gain confidence and understand how to use paints and advanced students will refine their skills to make all their paintings sing. Everyone will work at their own growing edge. All levels welcome.
Please see materials list for suggested supplies – some easels are available.

“Seamus has the gift of artist and instructor and is able to project his experience for the student to understand. He is patient and funny and it is a pleasure to be in his class. After only 4 lessons, I know more about being an artist than I have from all the other classes I have taken in the past. If anyone wants to learn how to draw and paint, Seamus is your man….” ~ Amy
