Be part of the creative process and plan a memorable week in Historic Taos, New Mexico, USA.

Visit this premier International mountainside community and experience a vibrant, world-class

visual arts colony. This is a rare opportunity to see inside the lives and studios of some of the

most remarkable and talented artists in the world. Taos offers a splendid variety of

accommodations and restaurants that are available for art lovers of all kinds. 

TAO, Taos Artist Organization, a tri-cultural organization that connects art with the greater 

Northern New Mexico communities will conduct a Tour of Visual Artist’s Studios. The event

will take place September- 26-28, and throughout the week, ending the weekend of October 3-5

of 2008.  We currently have 128 artists on the Tour. On the Studio Tour, visitors can see Artists

do their creating in a variety of mediums and chat with them about their concepts. “People get the

feeling of being part of the creative process when we personalize their experience”. 

In conjunction with the Studio Tour, there will be two Friday night; 6-8pm Preview shows that

serve as an index for the Tour. There will also be two Saturday night; 6-8pm Meet More Artists

Parties.  All four events will take place at the Kachina Lodge Gallery, 413 Paseo del Pueblo

Norte. These events will increase the artists’ visibility as well as welcome attendees to participate

in this major contribution to the community. We expect numerous enthusiastic art lovers and

collectors for the weeklong festivities.
